The Strategy

This was the property our Dad downsized into. When we took over the property, we needed to rent it out as soon as possible so that we wouldn’t carry the mortgage ourselves.

The unit had some wear and tear, and needed a bit of a facelift. So we recruited some friends and family to assist us with the renovation and rented it out as quickly asa possible. The current strategy is to hold for as long as we can keep good tenants in the property, potentially refinance so that the unit can cashflow on a monthly basis or sell and reinvest the equity into a larger project.

The Location

The unit itself is located in Dover, one block away from stunning inner city views, an off leash dog park and a bike path.
